FRANCE: HIGHLY PATHOGENIC AI H5N1 DETECTED IN DORDOGNE

A case of bird flu has been detected in France for the first time since 2006.

The French Ministry of Agriculture has reported that in a backyard poultry flock in Dordogne highly pathogenic AI H5N1 has been detected
A protection and surveillance zone of 3 km and 10 km has been set around this area where both poultry and wild bird populations will be screened.
