Clara Hagen, Secretary General

Clara Hagen has been involved with the poultry and egg industry for many years, both nationally in Holland as well as on a European level, which has provided her with an extensive knowledge and expertise. In 2014 she strengthened the EEPA team becoming the new Secretary General after Filiep Van Bosstraeten's passing. As of 2019, when the EUWEP secretariat moved from the UK to Holland, she became the Secretary General of EUWEP; a duty which she has been fulfilling with the utmost dedication and commitment.

Toms Auškāps, President

During the EUWEP General Assembly, which was held in May 2026, Toms Auškāps was unanimously elected to take over the Chairman's hat from Ruggero Moretti. Toms is Head of Communication and Business Development at Balticovo, the leading egg processing company in the Baltics. He's also a member of the Management Board. In his introductory message as a fresh Chairman of EEPA, he praised the genuine sense of community among EEPA's members. He appreciates that the association has a shared vision and common ambitions for the future of the egg industry and believes that the spirit of trust, collaboration and shared purpose is the true foundation of EEPA's strength and success.

Maria Gummerus, Coordinator

Maria Gummerus has been involved with EEPA since 1996. She started working for Filiep Van Bosstraeten Sr who was EEPA's Secretary General at the time as well as the co-founder of EEPA. Through him, EEPA found its permanent secretariat in Bruges, Belgium. For many years Ms Gummerus was closely assisting Mr Van Bosstraeten with all the day to day duties related to EEPA and has continued to do so after his passing in 2013.
